NORTH SUMMIT CHURCH

Children

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

We offer quality Children's Ministry programming during our Sunday morning worship services. Nursery through 6th grade is available at 9:30 a.m., and nursery through 3rd grade is offered at 11:00 a.m. Our Family Lobby, located in the North Building across from the Worship Center, is where you can securely check in your children for nursery care, preschool, or elementary classes.

Nursery (Ages 0-2):
Children receive loving care from our dedicated nursery volunteers.

Preschool (Ages 3-5):
In our preschool classroom, children enjoy worship, a Bible lesson, and creative play to reinforce the lesson of the week.

Elementary (K-6th Grade):
In our elementary classes, children engage in worship, learn Bible lessons, and are challenged to apply the truths they have learned.

Summit After School (SAS)
SAS meets on Tuesdays from 2:30–5:00 PM.

Summit After School is a drop-in, after-school program designed for 1st-6th grades. Registration will be at the entrance of the South Building (the building closest to the Middle school facing Division Street). We will continue to run buses. If you will need a ride from Washington or Sagle school please let us know.

We serve food, teach an age-appropriate Bible lesson, play games, work on crafts, and talk in small groups about how to apply the lesson in our lives.

Eating together is a great way to carry on conversations, get to know each other, and help provide a time of fellowship.

Small groups are a time to talk about the bible lesson, check in with one another, and ask for prayer requests. We hope to connect as a group and build trust with one another. For younger children, we provide coloring sheets, word searches, and other activities to use to help illustrate the lessons and allow young children to use their hands. One memory verse will be offered each month to help get God’s word into the hearts and minds at a young age. Children who accomplish this memory verse will be entered into a drawing to win a Panhandle Cone and Coffee wooden nickel!
